大阪を拠点に活動するプロデューサーNICKELMANによる最新作『Mangoes II』。カナダの老舗レーベルURBNETより、2021年作『Mangoes』の続編がヴァイナルとカセットでリリース。
ソウルフルなスウィート・グルーヴを軸に、トロピカルかつエキゾチカな領域へと展開。とろけるようなループの重なりとヒップホップビートが絡み合い、心地よく揺れるメロウな質感に、サイケデリックな揺らぎを帯びたニュアンスが重なり、全体をやさしく包み込む。
ダビーなイントロから幕を開け、果汁が滴るような瑞々しいビートを軸に、ダンストラックから哀愁を帯びたメロウなソウルまで、映画のサウンドトラックのように滑らかに展開していく。

A sequel to Mangoes (2021), released via the long-running Canadian label URBNET, now available on vinyl and cassette.
Built around soulful, sweet grooves, the sound expands into tropical and exotica territories. Layers of melting loops intertwine with hip-hop beats, while mellow textures gently drift, colored by subtle psychedelic fluctuations.
Opening with a dubby intro, the record unfolds around juicy, fluid beats—moving seamlessly from dancefloor-ready tracks to melancholic, mellow soul, like a cinematic soundtrack.
The collage artwork under his alias “55555” resonates with the music, shaping a deeply refined and immersive sonic world.
